Brewnitarian Holidays

  • Be Kind a Latte Day

    Be Kind a Latte Day

    2/17

A day of performing random acts of kindness. A common ritual is paying for the coffee of the person behind you in line at your favorite cafe and starting a pay-it-forward chain.

  • New Beer's Eve

    4/6

A day celebrating the end of prohibition in the US and the religious intolerance it represented.

  • Tea'ster

    5/21

T’easter is a day of quiet reflection and self-assessment. How did the past year go? What do you want to do differently? Start to plan.

  • Brew you!

    7/24

Brew you? No…brew YOU! A day to spoil yourself. Do something special. Have fun. Relax. Whatever floats your boat (keep it safe and legal folks). No guilt allowed.

  • International Beer Day

    1st Friday in August

Gather with friends at your local Brewnitarian Church (aka Pub) over pints of beer. Celebrants should give the gift of beer, play beer games such as pong and, if possible, try a new beer you’ve never had before. Special thanks and attention should be given to the hosts with the most, the Brewnitarian deacons gettin’ their freak-ons: bartenders.

  • Oktoberfest

16 days leading up to the 1st Sunday in October

A celebration of community and coming together. Time should be spent in merriment, revelry and much clinking of beer steins. Put on your lederhosen or Dirndl and shout “Zicke zacke, zicke zacke, hoi hoi hoi!” followed by a chug of your beer.

Oktoberfest culminates in Beanmas to slay the likely hangover.

  • Beanmas

    1st Sunday of October

The last day of Oktoberfest is when we celebrate the spontaneus “birth” of the Divine Coffee Bean: bringer of energy, improver of moods, slayer of hangovers and patron saint of staying up late.

It is traditional to give a gift of a new coffee mug, a bag of coffee beans or something similar to loved ones.

  • Espresso-rama

    11/23

Coinciding with National Espresso Day in the US (coincidence, we think not), Espresso-rama is a day to espresso yo’self. Support the causes you feel strongly about, share your talents or just share your thoughts (feel free to air your grievances if you must).
